The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia
What is New with the 2020 alfa romeo giulia?
Alfa Romeo took over 100 years to perfect what we have now as a masterpiece of Italian design and performance. It is in the brand’s nature to excel when designing their vehicles. Which brings us to today’s blog post on everything that is new and improved with the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia. As usual, the mainstream media is referencing the changes made to the Giulia as something erotic that brings pleasure to the eyes, and we have to say… we are okay with that. The Giulia is now being offered with optional appearance kits, new exterior colors and refreshed leather wrapped interiors.
Alright, let’s dive into the enhancements that happened inside of the car since that’s where more upgrades were made. The Giulia has received a new infotainment center fully equipped with an 8.8-inch screen that is standard in the Giulia. This screen has seen upgraded graphics and a faster processor for a truly remarkable experience while giving our customers “driver-configurable interactive widgets” according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). The shifter has also been wrapped with leather, the rotary control dial also got a slight buff and it looks nicer than its predecessor. This 2020 model has also seen a freshened steering wheel leather-wrapped design, an available phone pocket capable of wireless charging, and a laminated front glass with the purpose of improving noise & vibration dampening in the vehicle’s cabin for a more comfortable ride.
As mentioned earlier in the post, the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia is now available in three new colors. Those colors are Anodized Blue, Verde Visconti, and Lunar White that looks like it’s out of this world! One other thing to take away from this is that the Giulia will continue to maintain the iconic front grille known as the “Scudetto.” Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is available in the 2020 Giulia which will facilitate the following features: Highway assist, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign awareness, drowsy driver recognition, and improved navigation, along with available forward collision warning and emergency braking.
technology to keep you going
We love looking under the hood of the Giulia, let’s be honest, you somewhat need the giant mechanical box under there. Since the Giulia Quadrifoglio is the fastest 5-passenger vehicle in the world, it looks like that meant there was no need for a change on the engine. How does the old saying go? “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it?” Well, it seems like Alfa Romeo will be keeping the 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 that puts out 505 horsepower and 443 ft.-lb. of torque. On the other hand, the 2.0-liter 4 Cylinder turbo engine will continue to be put in the base-trim Giulia still capable of 280 horsepower and 306 ft.-lb. of torque.
test the limits
The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia is a force to be reckoned with all of its new enhancements. The added colors make it easy for a consumer to find their personality, the enhanced leather gives a driver a true feel of luxury, and then there’s the unmatched performance under the hood just waiting to be untapped at a moment’s notice!
